PTA Kits of Materials
Each year the
local unit PTA President must register with the Florida PTA and
National PTA to receive a complete kit of materials, including
membership cards. Kits are mailed out over the summer. If not
received by mid August, check with them to be sure the required
information was received.
Information from both the Florida PTA Kit of
Materials and the National PTA Kit of Materials are on the Internet.
Each board member should become familiar with the information
pertaining to their duties and the Internet makes it easy to share
the information. PTA members may also duplicate and distribute these
materials for PTA purposes. PTA only requires that you cite the
source.
Information from the Florida Kit of Materials is on their website in the
Restricted Area. You will need a user name and password to access this area
of their website. You can get them by emailing
Florida PTA
or PCCPTA.
Information from the National PTA Kit of Materials is in the
Running A PTA area of the
National PTA website.
You will need the user name and
password found on your PTA membership card to access some of their
information.
