There are 5 compliance requirements to run a PTA.

Compliance Checklist:

Register new and returning officers with Florida PTA (click here)
Annual Audit (financial review) should be completed by August 1st.
Update bylaws if needed (every three years)
Annual IRS 990 filing
Membership dues sent monthly

Is Your PTA Unit in Good Standing?

Local units please remember that to remain in good standing you must have a delegate:

  • attend a minimum of two (2) PCCPTA general meetings
  • attend a minimum of one (1) sanctioned advocacy class/event

Your unit must be in good standing to participate in the county Reflections program, to apply for Awards, to participate in the business of county council and to obtain insurance through PCCPTA.
